Why This Role Matters
The Garment Customization Supervisor leads the team responsible for bringing our customers' brands and ideas to life. From embroidery and heat transfers to patches and custom apparel decoration, you'll oversee production operations that support businesses, organizations, and customers across Alaska.
This role is critical to ensuring orders are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining the exceptional quality standards Big Ray's is known for.

What You'll Do
- Lead and support the daily operations of the Garment Customization team.
- Schedule production and prioritize work to meet customer deadlines.
- Oversee orders from production through completion while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Operate and support embroidery and customization equipment as needed.
- Monitor department workload, production timelines, and order progress.
- Resolve production issues and keep projects moving efficiently.
- Communicate order status, approvals, and production updates with internal teams.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs when needed.
- Manage inventory of production supplies and materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall department performance.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of embroidery, garment customization, or related production experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of embroidery equipment, garment decoration processes, and quality standards.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
