Job Description 

Big Rays is looking to hire a full-time Embroidery Operator to join our team. As an embroidery operator, you are responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all embroidery-related orders and assisting the operations manager on design work and branding standards for all work through the embroidery department.  
The Embroidery operator will be setting up machines by loading designs, threading needles, and selecting appropriate fabrics and threads. Maintain a productive flow of all embroidery orders and related requests, maintain daily embroidery logs to provide accurate lead time, and provide a safe and clean environment.  
This position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, speaking, and hearing. Requires near vision to write and read printed materials and computer screens. 
 

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Six Months of customer service experience. 
  • Highly skilled in the operation of embroidery machines and sewing machines. 
  • Highly skilled in the art of sewing names and logos. 
  • Ability to read and interpret design specifications.  
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and implement solutions. 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to adhere to lead time standards. 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle information with accuracy. 
 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 2 years experience operating embroidery or similar machines. 
  • Trained in the repair and maintenance of embroidery machines. 
  • Experience digitizing. 
 

Benefits and Compensation 

We offer a competitive wage ranging from $20-$22 per hour depending on experience, paid holidays, a 401(k) option, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and employee discount.
